    Flash classes include introduction you to the basics of creating objects and animation. The student will explore the basics of Flash, including tools and features, and will create different types of animations. Students will learn how to create frame-by-frame, shape-tweened, and motion-tweened animation using both custom and imported graphics as well as text. In the Flash advanced courses, the student will work with symbols and instances, create extensive Timelines with independent animations, build more complex navigation controls, work with sound, and optimize your movies for viewing by their intended audience.

    Flash MX Introduction is a hands-on course that will introduce you to the basics of creating objects and animating in Macromedia's Flash MX. You will explore the basics of Flash, including tools and features, and will create different types of animations.     WDWP-335    Flash MX 2004: Developing Applications Training 
    This training course is designed to teach students to create rich internet applications using Flash MX 2004 which dynamically integrates the external data and responds to user actions. The site created will pull data from external sources and will respond to user choices based on the information in those files.

    Students will also create ActionScript programming to perform calculations and tailor the interface, and will finish by publishing the final files in .swf format.

    This training course is designed to provide instruction in creating rich Internet applications with Adobe Flash CS3 using ActionScript. The student will learn to pull data from external sources, manage forms, perform calculations and tailor the interface using ActionScript programming. This training course is instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivered with structured hands-on activities.

    WDWP-430    Flash MX: ActionScript Training 
    This training course is designed to provide instruction in using more complex interactivity in ActionScript programming. The student will learn to plan movies to make the process efficient and to allow code to be reused in multiple places. Students will create a quiz game with several types of questions, including those involving toggling items on and off with clicks, dragging objects to targets, a ”video game” question in which the student moves a player with arrow keys and fires missiles at an “enemy” and ones that are answered via clicking checkboxes and radio buttons. In the process, the student will learn about storing data in variables, accepting input via the keyboard and mouse, using arrays and loops, using debugging tools and using Flash’s built-in components.

    This training course is intermediate to advanced.

Students may currently need to work on Flash projects that require implementation of advanced functionality.
