Public Class FAQs

What is included with my tuition?

Course materials will be shipped ground to all supplied student addresses approximately one week prior to the class start date. Additional charges may apply for international and express shipments when applicable.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Once you have successfully completed your class you will be able to download a PDF of your Certificate of Completion using your login information from your confirmation.

What time do the classes run? Are there scheduled breaks?

Classes start at 10am Eastern Time (ET) to accommodate people in all time zones. Classes run until 5pm ET. There are three breaks during the day; two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break.

Will I be able to ask questions and interact with the other participants?

Live Web Based Training is in a fully interactive training environment. You may question the instructor any time during the training by raising your hand. Breakout sessions are available for team exercises and assignments with other students. Text chat is available for private chat with the instructor or another student, or you can text chat with all participants. LearnQuest believes interaction is key for a successful training session.

How is the audio handled

You can access the class audio either through a conference phone line or through VoIP. We recommend a headset with microphone which can be purchased at any office supply store.

How do you apply hands-on training virtually?

Our virtual training environment features break-out labs and sessions. You will have the ability to log into a remote virtual classroom with all of the software and files you will need provided there. Through this easy-to-use environment, you will be able to complete labs, work collaboratively, get assistance from the instructor, and complete projects seamlessly.

How do I pay?

LearnQuest accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express through a secure gateway using Heartland Payment Systems. Payment is processed using a high security SSL certificate.

Established LearnQuest clients may also pay with an authorized PO. For processing, you must have a Client Code. If you have questions, or are unsure of your Client Code, please contact your Account Executive or call 610-206-0101.

I don't have a credit card, what are my options?

LearnQuest can invoice you and will accept payment by check up to two week prior to the class start date.

What if I have to cancel my registration?

LearnQuest's Cancellation Policy is as follows. You will be charged the full price of a public class if you do not cancel or reschedule your enrollment at least fourteen calendar days prior to the scheduled start date or if you do not show up for the class. However, you may cancel your class enrollment at any time within the three days following your initial or any rescheduled enrollment date without charge.

All refunds will be issued within five business days from cancellation notice.

What are the requirements for my computer?

Windows 98, 2000, 2003 and XP, and Vista

Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (Recommended) (2 GB of RAM for Windows® Vista)

How will I know my computer is ready and compatible for virtual training?

To ensure a successful virtual training engagement, there are several requirements that need to be met. All of these can be tested prior to the start of your class to avoid any interruption or delay in your training. These requirements include:

Each student workstation must have access to the internet with sufficient bandwidth to conduct training (a min. of 128k per student)
Access to LearnQuest remote resources must be verified prior to class from student location. There is a small plug-in loaded on the workstation when connecting to the remote PCs. This plug-in allows remote screen connectivity.
Ability to use meeting software must be verified prior to class from student location. There is a small plug-in loaded on the workstation to enable the meeting software for virtual training.
Each student workstation must meet minimum hardware and browser specifications.
